Percy Jackson Sea of Monsters Homework

                           In the book  Percy Jackson Sea of Monster Percy comes home to realize his mother is not there and she is no where to be found. Percy realizes from his cousin Luke that he is mentioned in a prophecy and that Chiron didn't tell him anything about the prophecy. So when Percy finds out he is a little disappointed with Chiron because he usually tells Percy everything all the time.  Then all of Percy's friends are worried about him after what happened with the bull so they go and try to find Luke and then they finally find him on a boat. Then Percy gets the bag with his powers by making the waves move so that way the boat can rock back and forth so that Anabeth's back pack can be in reach for Percy to grab it from his cage that Luke put him in along with Anabeth and Tyson. Hermise gave them a magical tape roller that would melt the metal so they can get out of situations like this.





                              My prediction in this book Percy Jackson sea of monster is that they will use a canteen of wind that  Hermise had gave them to make the boat move so they can reach there destination. So when they are out at sea they can get to where ever they need to be. I also think that they are going to find Clarisse and her crew. They are going to try to work together to get out of the Animal that they are in. Once they get out they are going to follow the coordinates to get the golden fleece. Then bring it back to Camp Half-Blood to save the tree so that way they can recreate the force field to protect the camp and live peacefully with a new member of camp Half-Blood.

goals

                      An academic goal of mine is to get good grades this quarter. The reason why i pick this goal is because i am tired of getting b's c's d's and f's i want to get a's and b's and the things that i am going to be doing to achieve this goal is. Hand my homework in on time , be mentally and physically prepared for class like doing the homework the day it is assigned and stay after if i need to.
and basically ask for help every day if i really need it or if i am having trouble with what i am doing




             My personal goal is to stay focused in class.The reason why i am going to achieve this goal is because i always get off task and don't pay attention. the things that i am going to do to achieve these goals is to think about your homework and just listen to your teacher make eye contact and just look at the boar and then to pay attention is to ask any questions that you have when the teacher ask if anyone has any questions and that helps because if you look at the teacher and take notes it shows that you are paying attention.

                   In the book that I am reading Percy Jackson Sea of Monsters. The kid named Percy  was in the school they were playing a game of dodge ball and the dodge balls were like death balls because of how fast  and hard some of the people threw the balls and two of the dodge balls headed right for Tyson. Tyson is a cyclopse so he threw the two balls back to Matt Sloan and when one of balls was heading for Percy he just moved to the side and let the balls hit the locker room door.  Then a fire set out in the school. The gym teacher is deaf so he couldn't hear and was to busy reading his magazine to even care about the children. Back at camp Half-Blood things were going bad people were fighting  with machanical bulls and the tree was dying.

                  In the book Percy Jackson Sea of Monsters some of the conflicts that are in the story is that everything is going really wrong at camp Half-Blood. The Half bloods can't do nothing they need Chiron's permission to go on a quest to find a golden blanket that will save everything.  Bullies are still being mean and people are getting hurt  the teacher is not paying attention to the students are nearly dying. Another conflict is that Grover Percy's friend is missing, but Annabeth, Percy and Tyson are still unsure about where their cousin Luke took Grover. The tree needs to be saved in order to protect the people at camp Half-Blood.

               In the book that I am reading Percy Jackson Sea of Monsters takes place in New York at a  prep-school campus. This is a kid named Percy Jackson and he is the new kid in the school in the 7th grade. That morning when Percy goes to school there is a kid named Matt Sloan keeps on bothering Percy and his new friend Tyson saying that Tyson is a freak and told Percy that he was going to die in gym class on a game of dodgeball things get ugly and the gang of cannibal giants turned the game into a death match.  Annabeth bring bad news to Percy that the borders that protect Camp Half-Blood have been poisoned by a  mysterious enemy and they have to find a cure or safe haven will be destroyed.


   
              In the story Percy Jackson Sea of Monster I predict that Percy, Tyson and Annabeth will go back to camp Half-Blood  and go on a mission with out telling Chiron. Then they will try to help Grover to get back  home from the mission to camp Half-Blood. Percy,Tyson and Annabeth are going to fight with a couple of cyclopses that think that they are food, and who are trying to eat them, but then they get away. If the Cyclopes would eat them then they will never be able to return to camp Half-Blood and their friend at camp Half-Blood will miss them and if they don't complete the mission then camp Half-Blood will be destroyed.

         Annemarie was going to her uncles  house along with Ellen and her Family except the dad and when they get there they see a cat and then they raise it to be their own. During the fake funeral Ellen's parent finally return but then the Rosen family is taking a boat to Sweden just to get away from the Nazi's and be safe so then near the end people came to the house and they had told the Johansen's that the guy peter had passed away he was part of the resistance and they captured him and then eventually murdered him and then Annemarie learns how her sister lice has died and she died because she was running and the Nazi's car ran her over by a car and shot her.




            At the holocaust museum i learned that many of the people that lived during the holocaust actually were captured by the Nazi's and  killed by the gas tanks or just taken to a field and just like totally killed and when they were killed they just didn't survive but then a lot the people escaped from the death and concentration camps and were found but some were not found and where were they. They were in a cave hiding and trying not to get spotted because if they were spotted they would be taken to the death camps and killed

NUMBER THE STARS BLOG

      In the novel Number the stars it is about a young girl who is not jewish but she had a friend that is jewish. And this girl her name is Annemarie and her friend's name is Ellen and the reason why i say this because at one point they get stopped Nazi at the corner and when the Nazi's stop them they asked questions. When they got home Kirsti told the mom about everything that happened. Ellen goes to the synagogue  witch is the  church for the jewish people and the priest  had said  that the germans took the list of the jewish peoples names and their addresses . Everybody was scared because the Nazi soldiers were looking for the jews.




        At one part in the story Kirsti is remembering when her mom told her about the fireworks    but instead of fireworks it was the ships blowing up. and this is important because Kirsti was just young and she did not know about anything. And at that time the war was going on so that is why the information is important. and in another part of the book Annemarie goes back to the time when she went to the tivoli gardens and it is important because it is amazing to remember thing when you are five.

Holocaust

After reading about some of the bystanders as well as the upstanders, explain why you believe many people stood by and watched the Holocaust take place? What inspired others to stand up or resist the Nazis?  What do you think you would have done? Explain your reasoning with details and facts that you have learned throughout our research of the Holocaust.







             After reading about some of the bystanders and up standers i believe that the people could   have stood up for the jews  but they were just being mean and following the orders of the Nazi's. the thing that inspired others stand up for the Jewish and not the Nazi's  because when they do that  they are being a nice person. the thing that i would have done is i would dress as a Nazi and i would gather them up and i would hide them some where in the woods. i feel like these people shouldn't do that and protect the jews and not gather them up and kill them. they would parachute to the hideout and give the jews some food and medication.
